Year-Round Roofline Lighting in Glens Falls

We mount permanent exterior lights along your roofline. Energy-saving LEDs sit in a thin track that matches your trim, and an app on your phone runs them. Use them for holidays, game nights or soft white light at the entry, any time of year. We serve Glens Falls, Queensbury and the towns nearby.

What We Install

Our work is permanent exterior lighting installation. We run LED lights in a track along the fascia or gutter line, wire them to a controller near an outdoor outlet and set up the app with you. Once it is up, it stays up. No more pulling bins from the garage every November or standing on a ladder in the cold.

    Permanent Lighting

Slim LED track mounted along your roofline that stays up year-round, runs from an app and uses very little power.

  • Technician in a cap and dark hoodie sprays streaked beige vinyl siding with a wand, half the wall already clean, beside a tank and pump with a ladder against the side

    Exterior Soft Wash

A low-pressure wash with a mild cleaning solution that lifts green algae, mildew and dirt off siding and trim without damaging it.

  • Worker on the ground sprays treatment onto a streaked asphalt shingle roof, the cleaned section beside it; ladder against the gutter and a tank and pump at left

    Roof Treatments

A low-pressure treatment that kills the algae, moss and lichen on your shingles so the roof sheds water, dries faster and looks right again.

  • Worker on an aluminum ladder scooping wet leaves from a white gutter with a hose running into it, beside a downspout on a beige-sided house with black shutters

    Gutter Clearing

Hand-cleared gutters and flushed downspouts that move water off the roof and away from your foundation before leaves and ice pile up.

  • Technician in a navy sweatshirt scrubbing a soapy exterior window on a white vinyl-sided house, with an aluminum ladder against the eave behind

    Exterior Window Care

Outside glass, frames, sills and screens done by hand, so more daylight gets in and your home exterior looks cared for.

  • Worker in jeans and rubber boots runs a flat surface cleaner along a concrete walkway, leaving a clean stripe beside wet, stained concrete between mulched beds

    Concrete & Paver Cleaning

We lift algae, salt film and grime off concrete, pavers and stone steps so walkways look clean and feel less slick underfoot.

What to Expect

Nearly every install goes through the same four steps.

  1. 1

Phone us for a free quote

Describe your house, the stretch of roofline you'd like lit and where the outdoor outlets are. We quote it free and answer questions while we're on the phone.

  2. 2

    Measuring and layout

We measure each roofline run, make sure the fascia and gutters will hold the track well and mark a spot for the controller. Then we choose a track color that matches your trim.

  3. 3

    Installation

We fasten the track, place the lights and wire everything back to the controller. All the work is outside, so you can be away for most of it. We tidy up along the way.

  4. 4

    Hand-off and setup

Before we leave, we connect the controller to your home network and put the app on your phone. You test a dusk schedule, a color and a saved scene with us still parked outside. If something misbehaves, we fix it before heading out.

What Affects Your Price

Since no two houses match, each one gets its own quote. Most of the price depends on how many feet of roofline you light. Beyond that, it depends on how easy the roofline is to reach and how power gets to it.

The quote is free. We give it by phone once we've talked about your house, and we visit to look in person when that helps. We go over every part so install day holds no surprises.

Feet of roofline
Longer runs need more track and more lights. Some homeowners light every side. Others do the front first and add the rest later.
Reach and height
A single-story ranch is quicker than a tall, steep two-story. Shrubs, decks or a slope below the eaves can add setup time.
Gables and corners
Each peak, dormer and inside corner calls for added cuts and connectors. A straight, simple roofline takes less labor than a broken-up one.
Where the power is
The controller has to plug into an outdoor outlet nearby. When that outlet sits far from where the lights begin, we plan a longer feed.
Number of zones
A single zone suits most houses. Breaking the front, garage and back into their own zones takes more hardware but lets you control each area separately.

About Our Company

We are a local lighting contractor that does one thing: permanent exterior lighting for homes. We started because we were tired of watching people fight tangled strands on icy ladders every winter, then pay to run lights that were left on all night.

We like this work because it pays off for a long time. A good install looks clean in daylight, comes on by itself at dusk and costs little to run. We would rather tell you to light less roofline than sell you track you will not use.

Upstate winters are long and dark by late afternoon. Lights that turn on by schedule make the walk from the driveway to the door a lot easier, without leaving a porch bulb burning all night.

Questions We Get

How much electricity do the lights draw?

Not much. The LEDs need only a small fraction of the power that old incandescent holiday strands used. Most people schedule them in the app to run a few hours each night, so they add little to the electric bill.

Can the lights handle snow and ice?

Yes. The track and lights are built to live outside all year. We mount them on the fascia or gutter line rather than the shingles, so snow coming off the roof passes them by. Ice sitting on them does no harm.

Is the track noticeable during the day?

It is thin, and we match it to your trim color as closely as possible. Most people looking from the street don't spot it until the lights turn on.

Do the lights come down after the holidays?

No, and that is the whole idea. They stay in place all year. From the app you can go from holiday colors to warm white for everyday use, or switch them off.

Can I run the lights while I'm away?

Yes. The system connects through your home Wi-Fi and runs from the app, so you can change colors, set timers or shut the lights off from your phone. Schedules keep working even if you never open the app.

Can I begin with one section and expand later?

Yes. Lots of homeowners start with the front and add the garage or back down the road. We lay out the first run so a new section can connect later without tearing out what's there. Mention on the call that you may expand, and we will plan for it.

Will you put holes in my roof?

No. Nothing goes through your shingles. The track attaches to the fascia or trim board, and we check that board while measuring so the track sits straight and holds tight.

What's the first step to get a quote?

Give us a call. We ask about your house, which roofline you'd like lit and where the outdoor outlets are. You get a free quote by phone, and if a closer look helps, we schedule a time to measure.

Why Homeowners Call Us

We keep the job simple. You get a clear plan, a clean install and lights that cost little to run.

LEDs that sip power

Each light draws a small fraction of what old incandescent strings did. Set a schedule so they only run when you want them. Your electric bill barely notices.

Schedules, not switches

The app turns lights on at dusk and off at a time you pick. No lights left burning all night because someone forgot. You can change colors or brightness from the couch.

No more ladder season

Temporary strings come down every winter and break every spring. A permanent system stays mounted, so you stop buying replacement strands and stop climbing in icy weather.

A plan you can read

We measure your roofline, show you where the track and controller will go and explain what goes into the number. You know what you are paying for before we set a ladder.

Tidy work on your home

We keep the track tight to the trim and match its color as closely as we can. We pick up clips, packaging and wire scraps before we leave.
